This seminar consists of case presentations by the participants, to be discussed in the context of psychoanalytic principles.  While the cases will provide the stimulus for
discussion, psychoanalytic principles to be discussed will include the unconscious, transference and countertransference, defenses, and interpretations.About the Seminar Leader:
Dr. Cindy Mendelson is Institute Director of the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the
Contemporary Freudian Society – DC. She is an Affiliate Faculty member at Loyola University Maryland. Dr. Mendelson has a private practice in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis in Lutherville, Maryland.

Who should participate?
This seminar is intended for mental health professionals with an interest in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy who are either licensed in their discipline, or who are in clinical supervision with a member of their professional discipline.
