Psychoanalytic Fellowship Program at the Contemporary Freudian Society

The 2017-8 Psychoanalytic Fellowship Program of the Contemporary Freudian Society-DC Psychoanalytic Training Institute begins this Fall.

Meetings will be held on 6 Saturdays between October and April from 10 am to noon. Tuition is $75.00 for the year.

Clinicians and students in psychology, social work, and psychiatry are invited to apply.

At the case conference-style meetings, CFS analysts present their sessions and discuss the decisions they made in the clinical hour.  Fellows will learn to listen at many levels. The clinical work is informed by the basic principles of Freud’s profound discoveries, as well as the post-Freudian theoretical perspectives of ego psychology, object relations, and attachment theory.

Each Fellow is offered a CFS mentor available to provide guidance in considering and developing a career in psychoanalysis.

For further information, please contact Kathryn Rickard, Psy.D.  202-413-3124 or visit the CFS-Psychoanalytic Training Institute website.
