NYFS-DC Psychoanalytic Training application deadline June 15
Spring is the season for applying to training programs for the Fall. A new class is gathering to begin in Fall 2009 for the The New York Freudian Society’s program in Adult Psychoanalysis in Washington, DC.
The recently-revised curriculum is informed by post-Freudian developments and theoretical perspectives which include ego psychology, object relations, attachment theory, infant observation, and neurobiology. It is a Modern Freudian Curriculum that places Analytic Listening at the center of the learning process.
Classes are held as 12 all-day Saturday sessions per year, which is helpful for people who travel to Washington for classes. Click here to download an information sheet.
